Itinerary

After breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park which is Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy game drives with a picnic lunch. After lunch and an extensive game drive inside the park, we will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest unbroken calderas on the planet with over 25,000 wild creatures in the caldera. It has more prides per capita than anywhere else on earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five, that is, lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalos. It is one of the world’s most astonishing and among the 8th Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers mountain forests, woodlands, grasslands, lakes, swamps, and two major rivers. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late in the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha which marks the end of your adventures with us.
