Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, our safari driver-guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile. Today, you will have a driver who will assist you to board your comfortable vehicle as he takes you to your hotel in Moshi.
After breakfast, you will meet your guide, drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (about 1 hr 30 mins depending on traffic), register and commence the climb.
Walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rain-forest, look for towering Eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and Colobus monkeys.

After lunch, descend back to park gate and drive to your accommodation in Arusha where you'll stay on bed and breakfast basis.
After an early breakfast, we will drive directly to Serengeti National Park, through the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we will descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park—with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We'll head to the central park area, known as the Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River. The river provides a valuable water source to this area, therefore, attracting wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. In the evening, arrive to your accommodation for some leisure time, dinner and your overnight stay.
A morning in Serengeti is an experience worth cherishing. You will wake up surrounded by enchanted sounds and smell of the wilderness staring at a magnificent breathtaking sunrise view at the endless plains of Serengeti.
After breakfast, depart for a full day game drive exploring Serengeti in search of the wildlife. The Serengeti eco-system is home to the "Big Five" (lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros). The other main species include zebras, wildebeests, various species of gazelles and antelopes, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles and some primate species such as velvet monkeys and olive baboons. It is also an endemic bird area, with a total of 505 species being documented so far. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to your accommodation. You will freshen up, cosy around the campfire and enjoy sharing stories of the day’s wildlife sightings while waiting for dinner.
After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival descend down to the crater for crater game viewing. With its abundant water, excellent grazing and natural protection from the densely vegetated crater walls, the crater provides shelter to over 25000 animals, including the endangered black rhinoceros. Lunch will be taken at a picnic site inside the crater.
After a great day into crater, ascend and drive to your campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.
Have a leisurely breakfast, then drive back to Arusha. On the way, visit one authentic Maasai Boma in Mto wa Mbu (Manyara). Thereafter, proceed to Arusha Airport for your trip to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at 11:00 am, our representative will meet you at Zanzibar Airport to welcome you and transfer you to the beach resort in Jambiani for relaxation.
Following your safari, it will be great to enjoy some days of beach holiday by the Indian Ocean.
Zanzibar is a unique island that has managed to find a balance between being a hive of activities, calmness and relaxation. From the moment you get close to Zanzibar, you will feel a relaxed atmosphere occupying your senses. The turquoise water of the sea and the powdery white sand beaches shaded by palm trees make this island look like paradise. The official name of Zanzibar Island is Unguza.
You will have 2 full days at the beach to relax, unwind and get tan with an option of choosing different activities and excursions as per your interests. You can opt for snorkeling, kite surfing, safari blue, spice tour, sunset cruise, Jozani Forest visit, etc.

After breakfast, our driver will pick you from your beach resort to transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your trip back home
If time permits, have a guided Stone Town tour at the historical sites of Stone Town. During the guided tour, you will experience the town and true culture of Zanzibar. Visit the famous House of Wonder, the Sultan Palace, the old museum and the old market where you can shop for various fruits and spices. You will also see the cathedral church and the old dispensary. You may continue with a free walk in the alleyways of the old town, watching the everyday local life and finding beautiful handmade souvenirs in the small shops. Later, proceed to the airport for your trip back home.
